VOTERS IN CITIES

Registered voters of a highly-urbanized city "shall not vote in the election for provincial officials of the province in which it is located." No component city shall be declared or classified as a highly-urbanized city within sixty (60) days prior to a local election.

Registered voters of a component city shall be entitled to vote in the election for provincial officials of the province of which it is a part, unless its charter provides otherwise. (Sec. 3, R.A. No. 6646)
