Poverty Incidence Slightly Increases, Hunger Worsens
The incidence of poverty slightly increased to 59% from 56% in
December 2000; while the hunger incidence reached a record high of 16%.
These are the results of the SWS national survey conducted on March 5 - 18, 2001.

Rated for the first time as President in the Social Weather
Survey of March 5-18, 2001, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo obtained
42% satisfied and 18% dissatisfied with her performance, for a
net satisfaction rating of +24. Those undecided are 39%.
